During Happy Celebrations: Effective during any good times such as Diwali, Dhanteras, or other special ceremonies associated with wealth.
Wash with Ganga jal or a rose water before first use. Charge it by exposure to sunlight or a burning diya in a few hours. In order to activate, chant:
Focusing on inviting abundance-“Om Shreem Hreem Kleem Kuberaya Namah”.
Place it in a north or north-east facing direction, preferably in the wealth corner/north zone or in your work place. It is important not to put it on the floor or in places full of things.
Use soft dry cloth to wipe clean at regular intervals. Avoid water or strong liquids. Carry with clean hands and store in an honorable place.
To increase the effect, use it in combination with a Kubera Idol, a Vastu Pyramid or Lakshmi Yantra. Cleanse at the Full Moon or Navratri time when they are at their strongest.
